The Social Enterprise Network (SEN)

The Social Enterprise Network (SEN) is a network of social enterprise support organisations and regional networks of practitioners, involving Community Enterprise Wales, the Wales Co-operative Centre, DTA Wales, Social Firms Wales, Clych, Menter a Busnes, AMCAN, Groundwork Wales, WCVA, Wales Rural Network, Powys Social Economy Forum, Merthyr SEN, Neath Port Talbot SEN and Pembrokeshire SEN.

The aim of the SEN is to provide a strategic and coordinated voice for the Social Enterprise sector in Wales by representing the views and work of its network members and Social Enterprises to government, key institutions and others interested in growing and supporting the sector.

CEW is also working in partnership with three other members of the SEN (Social Firms Wales, The Wales Cooperative Centre and the Development Trust Association Wales), to put together a Social Enterprise National Partners convergence bid. If successful in its bid, the project will provide an overarching structure to support the development and growth of social enterprises and to create an enabling environment through marketing and networking activity, in which they are understood and valued.

Each organisation involved in delivering this project will provide a range of clearly defined services tailored to suit the specific needs of the social enterprise sector and will build on the existing experience and expertise of the partner organisations.

Keep logging on to the CEW website for updates on this bid.
