The FEI Project

BTCV, in partnership with a number of organisations, is piloting ‘The Family Employment Initiative’ or 'FEI' project. The FEI Project is targeted at the Communities of Rhymney and Pontlottyn with the hope of further expansion across the Heads of The Valleys areas.

The FEI project is designed to engage with the communities of the area that it is working in via the medium of improving their environmental spaces. These improvement activities develop the community’s transferable skills, improving their confidence and opening up opportunities for individuals to secure employment.

CEW sits on the Steering and Operations group of the FEI and delivers support for Social Enterprise opportunities that come out of the FEI.
